300 GE Cooling system
The thermostat housing on these engines (M103) is plastic and can crack or leak quite easily, When you replace these there is a metal one available from an M104 engine that is the merc recommened repacement and is much more robust. Just getting a new one for mine and I remember I had one fitted on my 190E 2.6 with the same M103 block by the dealer.
