I’m reluctantly selling my G Wagen as I've moved to North Wales and am commuting to London for work every couple of weeks and as the G is obviously not a commuter car, sadly I need to get something smaller.

I've owned this G since 2013 and have had lots of work done by Steve Redfearn Motor Co - a specialist classic Mercedes garage in Wimbledon, Steve knows his stuff with Gs and has one himself.

In December 2019 Steve completely overhauled the engine & transmission and in October 2020 he fitted an exchange transfer box, I attach pics of the receipt showing what was done.

It has factory fitted aircon, which was overhauled and adjusted to take the modern gas.

I’m looking for around £17,000, which will just about cover what I've spent over the last couple of years.

I'd rather sell it here to a fellow G lover than eBay, but I do need to move it on asap as I need to buy another car.

Looks great.  And the scenic backdrop is a bit different to Wimbledon.

You've been with GWOA since 2003 and I think this is your 2nd G?  So I am sure you will check in here and the other sites from time to time.

Good luck with the sale.

Actually this is my 5th G over many many years!

This one I've had since 2013 and thought it was my forever car, which is why I've had so much work done on it, but now I'm commuting such a long distance it's being wasted on me & needs to go to a loving new home

Such a Nice example !

You should just keep it if you can I am sure the value of W460's will shoot up they are becoming rare and yours seems to have a nice colour combination.

Good luck with the sale.!

It actually makes me feel ill when I think about the cars that I've sold over my lifetime.

I'm sure the value will increase over time, but I really do need to sell it asap so I can buy a boring but economical car for my 240 mile commute!
