711.202 gearbox 4-speed manual on 300GD LWB
I need a replacement gearbox. Does anyone know if this gearbox was fitted on other vehicles, like any of the diesel vans?

I suspect that you are right. Perhaps somebody can confirm?
In any event, there are many W460 being broken for spares and I would asume that it is possible to find a decent manual gearbox with less mileage than that of a van. In the GWOA we run an exchange parts register. That alone might be a ggos reason to join in (it's just £25 a year).
