Doing a bit of rust prevention and not sure how to remove the plastic accelerator pedal clip without breaking.

Any guidance with technique would be most welcome or let me know if a replacement clip is cheap and available.

Cheers

Martin

Re: Accelerator Pedal Clip

Just pull it straight out with some pliers. It's tough and it shouldn't break, but if it does, it's easily replaceable through your MB parts dealer for little money.

spray with WD40 or similar to lubricate before pulling from centre.

Re: Accelerator Pedal Clip

Squeeze it from back of the pedal, , has ears ,use a flat screwdriver to pull on middle of clip. If you break it, they are readily available from MB, about a £1. Accelerator pedal will still function without clip
