Activated Charcoal Filter removal?

Hi All, anyone know how the Active Charcoal Filter unit which is located in the rear wing is held in place?

It’s rather difficult to see of feel any nuts and I would like to remove it to kill the surrounding paintwork rust.

Apparently it is just pushed back, please see attached image (attempt no. 1). A few years back I ordered a new one from MB and couldn't get it to squeeze into both slots so put a few cable ties to make sure it stays in place.
