I have a SWB 463, 1993. For some reason this doesn't have the central flip down arm rests or a hole in the fabric for an after fit. Does this mean I can't fit an arm rest to these seats? Advise greatly appreciated.

The arm rests were optional in all G-Wagens sold in the UK so it's not at all strange that yours doesn't have them.

Used armrests can be adapted by anyone with a bit of DIY abilities, by removing the trim and drilling holes in the seat's skeleton to attach the arm, but I don't know how hard would that be.

Cheers

They often come up for sale on the German ebay site, though not new.If your G is a manual then the drivers one will get in the way when changing gears

Absolutely right: mine has its RH corner completely worn out from changing gears
