Re: Beijing "G"

It would be nice to know a bit more about the specs and build quality.

Re: Beijing "G"

Looking at the picture of the passenger side there a problem with the centering of the axles

Either the front axle is to far forward or the rear is to far forward ??? crying or both

Re: Beijing "G"

The front looks like that weird blue G they did a few years back (Mansoury or something like that?)

But, hey China will copy until they have established a lead then will innovate, undercut and out sell - just look at the telco market....

Wonder if their wheel arch extensions fit straight onto the W460/3?

I like the radical look of the partial spare wheel cover from the latter link.

Re: Beijing "G"

Intriguing that they put the rear door hinges on the right hand side where the kerb-side access would be routinely obstructed in a country that drives on the right..... like China. Maybe they did it just to add weight to their argument that they didn't actually copy the G. Perhaps it just inspired them!  Yeah! Right!

Would also be interesting to know what was being said on the Daimler Benz stand at the Beijing show. Oh to be a fly on the wall there. wink
