Be careful if approached by persons offering you vehicles as a result of postings you make on this site. Post details of any one approaching you offering to sell you such a vehicle, or get a reference from a committee member regarding the vendor.
I do not wish to see you posting again in a few months telling us that you have been ripped off by someone who sold you a 2015 G500. It having been described as a 2015 because it was poorly restored in 2015 from the front half of a scrapped 230 and the back half of a scrapped 270, and it being described as a 500 because 230 and 270 adds up to 500.

Hi Colm, I absolutely second your comments. Although neither of these 2 guys have posted up the request. They have approached the GWOA via the email contact with their requests for info. Admin has in turn posted here for our input. I think ?
The links I have offered up are nothing to do with me and were for guidance only. I am not suggesting anybody buys these(but i am also not suggesting they shouldn't) the link to the one on car and classic seems to imply they are specialists in these conversions so I thought might be worth contacting them ? Maybe ?
The Alibaba one is as he was seeking (I think) so again might be worth contacting ?

Agree with you completely, and respect you for giving up your time on a Sunday afternoon to post links to help these guys.
To elaborate on my post, if an unscrupulous dealer had a G230 + G270 = G500 which was restored in 2015, and was then to google 'Challenger Limousine and Rent a Car' and then phone the number they get on the screen, Rio might end up getting shafted, so it might be in their best interest to post the details of the dealers who contact him on here so that some of us might be able to comment on their honesty and the quality of their workmanship.
