Can anyone identify this exhaust tail pipe?

Can anyone tell from these photos if this looks as if it is the tail pipe for W460 300GD exhaust tail pipe.

I got it with a heap of random spare parts when I bought my G and I am in the process of fitting a new exhaust and I have reason to believe it is a genuine Mercedes part, so I want to use it if I can.

there is a number on a label, it's a bit faded but I suspect that it is a delivery label.

To hazard a guess, I would say it is a tail pipe for the 300GD. The 230GE and 280GE profiles are similar, I would say the 280GE has two dips in the top side of the exhaust but yours shows only one dip. I don't know on the 230GEs'.

I am 100% sure its not a genuine Mercedes exhaust, that's an aftermarket label...

If you can figure the MZ number then that might help

MZ307 is the 300GD 230GE one...

Cant read yours but maybe MX31?

Believe that is an ANSA, which is not a bad manufacturer as such. ME20408=280GE according to my data. Which doesn't necessarily mean it won't fit others, especially being aftermarket.

Thanks for all the input gents, it did fit and is now working a treat and the neighbours curtains have stopped twitching every time I go in or out in the G!
