Sounds like it would be an easy fix, if it's just the radiator that has gone. I don't think the OM603 had any cylinder-head issues.
But being in Scotland, it would be unlikely for it to be rust-free.
If you want to avoid salt you need a car from Cornwall; even South Wales gets the odd frost in winter, mine which is petrol but colour aside near identical to that car has some surface rust on the chassis. I've also had it sprayed with black waxoyl on a couple of occasions so it would be naive to expect it to be pristine underneath.

I take it no one on here has done mot history check on Scott's eBay ad ? Interesting. Also Cornwall juts out into the Atlantic and vehicles in the vicinity are subject to corrosion as most of our west coast due to gulf stream
