Hi, my passenger side electric motor is us, switches are fine, are there any interchangeable motors to use as a replacement or do I need to go to the main dealer

Paul

Do a search on eBay for the Bosch number on the motor,  it's fitted to several different cars but with different winding mechanisms

Mk1 golf and TVR Griffith and Chimaera, Audi 80 coupe as well possibly.

Gordon

If you take the motor apart it's usually the brushes that ar suck and not making contact with the comm

Thanks, I've stripped the door already and know a good auto electrician, makes sense too as the passenger side gets the least use
