Front wheel lock up
Our 1989 300 D has always had a tendency to lock up front wheels on first few stops of the day or journey, then gradually behaving "normally".
Today this was particularly noticeable, not to say embarrising round town and resulting in a damp drivers seat in at least one car in front when stopping at a red light.
Where do I start, my experience to date has been in getting brakes to work better & know nowt about servos etc.

Marcus have you tried going backwards and stamping on the brakes and again forward to adjust the rear automatic brake adjuster?

No joy with that remedy Peter, and in hindsight perhaps I should have done it on someone elses drive.
