Very well done Gooch. Thouroughly enjoyed the day in spite of having to use the ML. I am giving our discussion a lot of thought and will be in touch soon.
Same. Great to meet G fans and hear all their experience and stories with Gs, and see so many examples in one place, old to new, short to long, petrol to diesel (and even LPG I think) - all have great road appeal. An annual (or ad hoc) attempt at further meets should follow more easily.

A G meet and convoy there one Saturday might book the cafe takings as well and be a nice trip out. I'd love a bratwurst.
Pick a date and circulate for suitability. Good for a early pm timeslot maybe.
To me, the important thing is, what's the parking situation?
Looks like parking is plentiful either side of the Bar, but not in the complex itself? Tesco car park one side, Wolverton Station car part the other.
And its a bar not a Cafe, sorry. But if we planned a Saturday, they do hot pretzels! It would be a short meet because one could only sample one or 2 biers if driving, so should have something on tap, like coffee?? Over to you.

we have a streetfood van every other friday evening if you want food, next one is the 28th July and is jamacian curry i think...
We do coffee and tea every day and pretzels on a saturday, no bratwurts i'm affraid though unless you get the right streetfood evening. There is a very good tapas restaurant two doors down called Cafe Ole.
Parking is plentiful around the shop. Dont use tesco, its a short walk, but to drive you go all the way round, its a bit awkward as there is a railway line inbetween.

niblett.. next weekend is a bit too soon. Happy to try Sat 13th July. That works for me and a trip to Wolverton. It sounds like there are a few parking spots around, a canal round the back and a park across the road (if anyone has dogs to walk!)

A Beer/Drink and Pretzel or whatever you have for sale. I'm sure a handful might make it, even though this site is not the most visited anymore. I'll decide which G to bring later. The 350Cdi is more modern and economical than the 230GE
