Very nicely updated W460 - looks very much a G63, owner clearly spent quite some money on it. Seen being cleaned in Chelsea.

Re: G5 WGN

There are so many cruising around Kensington. Was out last Sunday and saw 4 or 5 in the space of 2 hours - all G63 with the full kits. Personally, I don't much like the look of them.

I agree, the front with all these coolers looks fragmented, it dilutes the narrow but high look; design is a subjective matter but as so often less is more.

Re: G5 WGN

I noticed that Brabus started this trend a few years back, then AMG followed suit and now, albeit slightly more restrained, it appears standard even on the G350.

It is just another iteration in a series of 'face-lifts'  to keep the market alive, but the ideas are starting to run-out and, I think, form is no longer following function. You can't mess with the body-panels - at least until the supposedly all-new 2018 model - so all that leaves is to play with a new front and rear bumper style and new wheel designs..

It means, of course., that vehicles now can become 'dated' very quickly and it must certainly bolster-up the market for retro-fits.

I think generally, with cars, the original design and occasionally, the first face-lift, are the most coherent.
