Hello.

I am just about to resprey my G, have been looking at some images of good ones and some info about what colors to go for.

Does anyone know the  color palette on this one?

Would also be nice to get some input about other nice colors? My G is currently Midnight Blue.

I have heard some different opinions about flat versus sans colors. Do you have an opinion about that. I really want to go for this hardcore industrial, durable gray look without it looking like a military vehicle.

P.s I am also curios about the color coding of the bumpers?

Andrian most likely answered your question; of the current colors “Designo Graphit” comes closest;  specify a scratch resistant clear coat, it makes a big difference once off the beaten track;  not sure what you mean with flat vs sans, if you refer to what Mercedes calls "magno" paints, these are a maintenance nightmare as they do not have a protective coat, you are not able to polish scratches out, insects need removing within 24 hours and repair work is not straight-forward.

Yes, sorry its a translation issue, it should probably be flat vs. metallic.

It seems like the car on the picture I gave has a flat grey with a gloss overcoat?

Metallic colors change appearance in different light conditions and photos can be misleading;  if the paint has a clear top coat it will be shiny; but as Adrian pointed out, if the car is dirty it starts it loses its shine.
