Hi,

I'm about to replace the heater core on my '94 G350. How is this done the easiest and most convenient way? I recently had the dash pad out due to fixing rust around the windshield, but left the center console in. Do I have to remove the center console as well to gain sufficient access to the heater box to pull out the heater core?

Just curious why are you changing it? Is it leaking or blocked

A good days work! Dashboard has to come out, then central panel, take extreme care with all those switches, can't remember exactly, but some fiddley stuff around transmission tunnel. Will be worse if you have air conditioning? Though when I last enquired heater matrix not a fast moving part! Is yours definitely leaking?
