Hi . I am busy getting my old g wagon 1983 300 gd diesel g wagon in working order. I have a couple of questions to ask I can't seem to find the answers. 1 where is the regulator for the heater fan located as the fan works on 2 3 and 4 but not on 1 . 2 the oil pressure gauge is intermittent and with no temperature gauge reading . The fuel gauge reads ok . Any ideas ? Many thanks in anticipation

Re: Heater fan regulator

Heater fan resistor is located with heater fan and matrix , it takes a day to do. Put up with the one speed until the fan packs in .

Oil pressure is it a gauge or a light?

And have you tried earthing temp wire to see if you get the temp needle to move ?

Re: Heater fan regulator

Thank you . Will try earthing the wire first . Gauges worked before I had some work done on the engine by a garage . As for the heater I think I will put up with the fan on high until I need to fit a new one .

Re: Heater fan regulator

Heater fan is same as T1 van, you can get after market one for about 55quid ,. 2 speed resistor is cheaper than 3 speed
