Another beat out topic but, 1. Could I get a lost of all engines that would fit a 280ge 2.What type of power could I get from the standard engine if I were to Turbo Charge it and upgrade general parts! Not too bothered about the mpg if I go the turbo charge root (keeping it relatively original) Thank you in advance

There are Mercedes Diesel engines which will give good results

OM606 3.0l six cyl 177 hp upwards from the W210 e class

OM605 2.5L five cyl 140hp up  from the W202 C class

OM662 2.9L 5 cyl 125hp up from the ssangyong musso/rexton/

They're all fitted regularly with good results
