Just dug out some old photo's frm 82-85

I have just found some old photo's i took nearly 30 years ago.They show various " G's" that we used in a couple of 4x4 events around east Yorkshire....i wondered if anyone recognises any of the cars shown......

 

 

 

 

 

 

The good looking chap in the last shot is me.......30 years younger...

Gosh that was a while ago.... not sure I can remember that far back...... was I even born????

As GAv has said that paint work in the 4th picture looks like caravan Johns special and in the second to last one is that Eddie's 'Big Green'? Very distinctive paint. As for the final picture I though it was 'Eddie the Eagle' blush

It is interesting to notice Mercedes Benz sponsorship back in those days, don't expect the same level of support to-day?

The black swb and the white soft top were owned by MBUK , i think the multi coloured lwd was a stock vehicle......i don't know about sponsorship , all the banners were dealership stuff...........happy days though.
