Scam warning

Hi all, just joined and massive thanks already for the amazing unconditional advice from organisational staff even before I joined!

I saw my first G Wagon in Harijuku, Tokyo about 15 years ago and knew right then I had to have one, one day - it was beautiful and in that very dark blue/black colour which looked awesome (am sure there is a technical name for the colour?)

I know nothing about the vehicles but am about to purchase one and crazily enough it is a Japanese import, from Tokyo and in that very same blue/black colour  G500- wouldn't it be just great if it was the very same vehicle!

Because I know nothing about the vehicles and am already learning so much from this forum I am considering however, whether to start off slowly with a much older (and cheaper!)1990 GD 300 RHD- find my way a bit before investing in a 2000 500 LHD with significant power.

Has anyone come across this vehicle - GD 300 1990 'H720 ARC' manual - metallic brown from Gloucestershire?

As I don't know really very accurately what I am looking for it would be fabulous to know that the vehicle checks out.
