I have been watching 2011-on 350cdi market intensely for the last 18 months. There has been one (a white car) up at £45k, and prices really havent moved much in that time. I think it will still be a while until there is a choice at sub 40. 

I agree. I love the short wheel base models but i cant justify paying the extra for an older model

I think the later 350d models in lwb are the best option. What year did the dash change to the latest ones

Its a lot of money but i dont want to injure mine off road either. If it happens it happens as i am not whimping out but will be careful

New one to fleet is a rusty old 1985 lwb 280 ge. He said £1k and take it away. I sent a friend to take some pictures but for that money i said i would have it anyway.It needs a lot of work but nothing major. Diesel engine fitted knackered gearbox and back door is rotted where a battery fell over years ago I dont expect much but i will either fix it up or break it. Its a 1 owner car so i await his pictures tomo. Horrible red like mine lol

I thought 11 plates but yes obvious just look for the strip of leds. Also if interior is not in pics its going to be the old dash. I might just keep mine and put some baking foil on a few bits of the interior to get that aluminium look. Only kidding its too hard to stick on
