I'm not aware that I drive slowly, but since getting the G have frequently noticed some cars so close behind that I can barely see them because of the spare wheel, rear headrests and cargo net.  Which set me to ask, if there was one make of car that should be taken off the road, which would it be, and why Audi? smiley

Re: Tailgating

You're not driving slowly. They've never seen a G Wagen before and want to get a really close up look.

Re: Tailgating

Being such an aerodynamic brick, the G creates such a vortex behnd it that lesser cars are sucked in.

I don't have the problem in a G350 though - it cruises ahead.

Re: Tailgating

It was always BMW but one clever advert persuaded these abominable Yuppies that Audi should be their car of choice

I've just watched about 10 car ads on that link!  lol.

I always wanted an Audi, a quattro or an AllRoad.  But one day I test drove an A6 and just didn't get any buzz. Apparently there is an historical connection with the quattro evolving from the Steyr work on the G 4wd.
