My name is Harald Pietschmann, I am a very young 55 year old - Most of the year live in California
and Baja California (Mexico), because sunshine has such a vital influence on our spirit. Whenever I can, I travel the world.

I am a journalist and 4WD consultant writing books and adventurous travel stories. Time permitting I guide small groups
through one of the last paradises - Baja California. As a specialist and consultant for four wheel drive systems I train
a variety of government agencies and US Special Forces for their "mission impossible".
Every summer I organize adventurous trips and 4x4 training in the Sierra Nevada close to Lake Tahoe.

I am a true 4x4 fool - I have nothing else on my mind than playing with 4WD.

When I bought my 300GD I did not even know what 4WD was, had no clue how it worked.
