Any and all advice on tire sources appreciated!!

Hello.........

Currently running off road heavy (imperial size) 15x10.5x3's on SWB 300GE 1991 model year. Looking for road tires in equivalent 255/265 x 75 R15 sizes.

Seem not so easy to come by!!!!!!

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS.....??

Thanks!!

Re: Tires

I have exactly the same model (assuming yours is petrol and automatic).

Mine has General Grabber AT2 tyres fitted (265/75/15). They were already on when I purchased it three and a half years and 20,000 miles ago. Stil plenty of tread. Nearly all my mileage is on roads although I live down a 2 mile long unmade track.

Nice comfortable drive on roads including motorways at 70/80mph.

Sorry, I don't have anything to compare them with on this vehicle but I'm happy. I suppose I might look around for an alternative when they do wear out but would then do what you have and  seek out recommendations.

Where abouts in the world are you based?

Re: Tires

I believe 30 x 9.5 x 15 are the same size as 255/75 R 15 C and are far easier to find than the 255/75 size.

I have an unused BF Goodrich A/T 30x9.5x15 if needed pm me.

Re: Tires

Are these of roaders or road tread?

Re: Tires

All terrain - probably the most suitably pattern for the car.

Good off road and good on tarmac.

Re: Tires
I always liked the original Semperit tires - drove well. Good for road and light off road. Do they still make them?

Re: Tires

They are still available to buy, not sure of size ranges though
