Turn Signal Fuse

Dear All,

My turn signal indictors have blown the   fused twice in the last week, any idea why this may be happening?

Check firstly if the correct rated fuse has been fitted, then does the fuse blow occur on one side of indication or both?

Most likely it will have to do with a bad earth issue.

If you can identify which side the fuse blow occurs then remove each bulb at a time and this will bring you to the culprit bulb or circuit you need to check for earth problem.

Instead of blowing fuses at each test you may use a tripping multi-meter set on the amps reading other wise you will blow your multi-meter! Connect the the multi-meter in place of the fuse. Now just hoping that your multi-meter trips at your required fuse rating other wise these usually are rated at 20 amps.

I don't have an idea of what side is blowing but i will check, at present the fuse is 10 amp
