Afternoon all,

My manual drivers window regulator has given up (RHD). I have tried to clean it out which sort of worked for a little while but its properly given up now. Does anyone have one, know what can be made to fit or any kind of help at all?

Cheers

Hagar

What am I missing? What is a window regulator? Manual windows? I just oiled up my auto windows because the winder rod which is flexible and pushes up and round into a tube needed some greasing to ease the way.

Get one from the dealer. Costed out alternatives and not worth it. The bearings for the handle go. The plastic lining goes. Once replaced you will marvel at how easy it is to wind up/down

Use masking tape onto inside over the top to outside to hold up the glass when you do it is an tip; then the bolt holes for the glass line up with the holes in the door. Replace/use plastic sheet with black gummy sealant to save the inner door card from getting wet. Getting the winder handle off is probably the hardest; it is a C clip that you need to pull the plastic cup back to fish out. Also expect some of the door card plastic clips will be broken.
