Sorry for an off topic subject, guys. Several of us are going up to Tokyo to listen to this group from your area and general neighborhood. I've never seen or heard them but supposedly they are fun to listen to. Any concurrence or dispute of them?

Re: The Waterboys

I saw the Waterbooys in concert many years ago in Birmingham. It should be a good evening as long as they keep to their older stuff.

What I like about it is that we'll see them in a very small venue called Club Quattro.I've been there before and the sound in there is very good and feels as though it is a private concert. Very unlike large stadiums that distort quality. The exception to that is the famous Budokan. Wow. I've sat in the uppermost seats and the sound is just as if you were right in front o f the performers. Perfect.

Wow, those guys were pretty good! Only downside was that it was up in Tokyo on a school night so work came waaaay too early yesterday. Made for a long day of staving off drooping eyelids. ha.

Three of the band members were from England and Ireland, the other three were from the U.S. They played a lot from theri latest album (that I had no idea was out there) so the beat was up and lively from older albums. They played both versions of Fisherman's Blues, too.
