Welcome to 2023
Welcome to GWOA 2023
After a tiresome 2022, which should have been the emergence from Covid lockdown, we have economic, political and social turmoil. So I wish you all the best of fortunes during the coming year in all departments
But 2023 will mark 38 years of the G-Wagen Owners Association and we roll on. The (paid) membership is small but sufficient to cover the hosting costs and the Forum of information continues to serve members and visitors alike (members get more access and features), which is why the Association continues - to support all G owners and enthusiasts. If you would like to get involved in moving the association along, drop me a message here to be added to the Committee and create stimulus. The plan was always to transform away from this clunky website to something better, but retain the Forum access (and reduce the costs of that). Surplus funds should go to rewarding members with more benefits or goodies. At the moment, membership does at least bring some discounts with insurers and tyres and so forth. Occasionally, there are meet-ups with small groups, and a grand tour has been mooted. Stars need to align with a bit of elbow grease and of course there is 'competition / co-opetition' with many other online groups all serving the G community. Even the MB G-Lounge came and (almost) went. Just keep checking-in.
So all the best for another year. Still awaiting the EQG, by which time Hyrogen fuel will be on the rise.

Happy new year, John, and to everyone else.
If there are any planned meet up's here in the UK then I would be game to catch up with some others. The catch up in the summer with you and a couple of others was good fun.
Happy New Year all....
I will echo Jim's thoughts and gladly try and join in with a meet given enough notice
Thumbs Up from me.
