Hi Guys

I have just purchased a set of 18" Rims with tyres and have two quick questions.

1. What do you call this style of Merc wheel?

2. Would anyone know the weight of this wheel with a Merc Kumho Solus 265/60R18 tyre fitted?

If the weight of a wheel is less than 30Kg I will use senditnow.com to collect and delivery in UK for £12.19 per wheel which is a keen price.

Cheers

Martin

That's the new standard wheel for the G.

The wheel is probably at least 20kg and then you have around 15kg for each tyre. Maybe if you go on some tyre websites, you'll find a more accurate weight.

Thanks Arnie and I took your advice and decided not to buy 20" wheels, but was wondering if the rim style had a name.

If I could now find a cheap courier to get 4 wheels from the south of Wales to Northern Ireland I would be very happy!

Can you not ask the seller to place one on a bathroom scale to verify the weight?

Perhaps you could arrange the shipment as a 1/4 pallet (max 250kg, 100 x 120 x 80 cm), usually around £50 in UK ? But may be more to N. Ireland,

There are also a number of couriers who specialise in wheels and tyres, but probably same as what you've found already.
