where to buy a new soft top for an ex bundeswehr 250 GD

I recently purchased a German 250 GD SWB, LHD for a present to myself to celebrate my retirement from the US Army.  The soft top is in bad repair.  Can anybody point me to a source for new soft tops.

If it we the civilian version, then you could get a new soft top from MB. However, the military version has different  fastenings on the side.

You may have to find some European army-surplus outlet or use your old one as a pattern to have one made.

Guido Mathes in Germany will have them but he's a bit pricey, He trades as Offroad world on Ebay.

Or you could try Albert Bouma from Holland.  They both are on the GWOA  facebook page, it may be a good idea to put a wanted advert up.  There are other people on there that are involved with ex military Gs
