pp, why not ring the geezer selling it direct. see what he has to say , and you will get a idea of where he's coming from....
if there is a scam and it comes off ebay you still have contact details mate.

That is not as sinister as you think. The stats only show the last 30 days of his bidding history. He has made a total of 8 bids during this period, 2 of which were for the item you are bidding on. Hence 25% of his bid history is with that seller. Quite innocent really and unlikely to be a scam.
