460 Steel Wheels
Happy New Year to everyone, does anyone know where i can buy some 15" steel wheels for a 460?
Cheers,
James
pretty sure the steels were only in 16" for both the 460 and the 463 but you might get after market one in this size
Hi i have a set of 5 genuine steel 460 wheels and a set of 460 narrow alloy wheels but they are 16 inch , im sure they never made 15 inch steel wheels rgds stevo
Are they the H2 type that would fit my 463 GD, 1991. If yes where are you located and what condition & price. Also a set of alloy wheel nuts (20), if yes what price. thanks, regardsTom
Both the 16" 460 steelies and the 16" 460 narrow alloys will fit your 463, but they are narrower (5.5 inches) than the standard W463 steelies (6 inches wide). In any event in German Ebay you can find pretty much any older GWagen rim for very little money.
Well the 463 wheels are not a waste, you can use them on the 460 with spacers, and then keep them till you upgrade to a 463 ;-)
I have new 7x16 ET40 rims for sale. They are perfect for W460.
4 of them cost 300 Euro. That's how they look like:

Also I can offer 5,5x16 beadlock rims. They have a Toyota bolt pattern.
4 of them cost 100 Euro. So you need an bolt adapter.

when i bought my 460 it had some really tired 15" chrome steel wheels on 275/75/R15s - i've been quoted £60 a wheel to shot blast and powder coat - i thought it mite be cheaper to just buy new.
i made the elementary mistake of buying a set of 463 alloys when i first had the car and they just dont sit right.
