Any ideas what these are?

Cleaning front brakes on 460 3300GD abd found these units one on each side held on by cable ties...
I have no idea what they are but thinking ABS or pad wear sensors?
Fairly sure they arent part of vehicles set up as nowhere for them to go that I can see..
Anybody any ideas?

They look like the plugs for the pad wear sensors. The sensor plugs in there, and the other end goes into the brake pad. Something like this:

Hi
Could be part of adjustable ride height / spring helpers which can be controlled from inside the vehicle like the bouncing suspensions you see on cars in the United States

They are the pad sensors shown in your link

My pleasure..did the job not long ago, but the pic isn't too clear, this is where they go into the pads..
