Brake wear sensor
Hi,
I'm having the pads and discs changed on my '96 SWB 463. The wear sensors also now need replacing. The mechanic is saying theres problem as the physical leads off the car don't match those advised by MBz parts dept. leads from the car appear to be split leads with dual sensors, the ones MBz parts are saying are single leads & sensors.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

I took mine off because my car was manufactured in October 91 and have a letter from Milton Keynes making this clear should the tester get stroppy but even with it off it passes the MOT engine test, I have still got the cat somewhere in my garage if you are desparate
Whats the deal if your car had a CAT fitted (and removed at testing time)?
What are the rules regarding age? I'm looking a Clio for the lady (and for me to thrash) that has the factory cat removed. It will be 2003-2005. Will I have to put it back on every year for the test?
