 Dear All,

I am removing the wood trim to the dash to have it refinished and i figured that i would change out all of the lamps in the dashboard and cluster but having no idea what i might find lamp wise i wondered if anyone has a list of what lamps are required and where i may be able to buy them from

Cheers

Freddie

Re: Dashboard Cluster

Hi Freddie

a good source for G' lamps and fillaments is www.internationallamps.co.uk .the best method is to mail them samples of the lamps required (they are all small in the dash.. switches and gear selector (auto) do not refer to to MB or G wagen as this puts the price up 25%....I use a company nr Watford for the new veneer and laquer-- not cheap but very good.

Re: Dashboard Cluster

I found the bulbs at the local parts store. Just took in the old ones and they matched them. No problems at all. £1 ea or something like that. There are several bulbs behind the heater sliders controls and auto box selector that can be replaced at the same time, again available locally.
The centre console switch bulbs are a different story

Re: Dashboard Cluster

Hello Freddie,

Most probably you will need MB bulb part number N072601 012230 (12V, 1.2W). German List Price is 1.60 euros + VAT.
This is a standard bulb type which you might also be able to get from your local parts store - provided that you show them a sample.

Regards

Michael
