differential 35/5 to 44/9

Guys. I need some advice. We have some gd to repair in our workshop and we have good second hand parts that we use to repair the cars. I have this problem. All diferentials i have are 37/7. We have some GD from clients with 44/9.
So we can not replace only one diferentiual. What we think is to change both and keep the good one for other repairs.
Do some one have any coment in this. Is that going to bring any problem in future
Thx all

You are changing the final drive ratio from 5.286 to 4.889. This is an increase in gearing of approx 8 %. So you loose 8 % torque at your wheels. This would be noticable in a diesel. Other than that there is no problem except twice as much work to do 2 diff rebuilds
thank you.
