Hi All,

In my search to find a 300GD with ambulance (wing) doors, I came across this dealer in the Netherlands. I have searched the forum and found no reports so I thought I might inquire as to anyone's impressions of dealing with Derk at G-Zuna.NL.  He has some marvelous G's and some have already made it over to my side of the pond.  Does anyone have any experience with him?

Thanks!

an interesting website.

http://www.g-zuna.nl/Occasion-g-klasse-specialist-Overijssel-Twente/3459/33198/41059/default.aspx

The cars he has for sale are quite expensive but are very well presented. What exactly do you mean by Ambulance wing doors, do you mean the twin rear doors, if so these originate in early vehicles but have beeen resurected recently for the G-Professional.

I really like this one

Yes, he seems to have nice trucks and those will come at a price I suppose.  By ambulance doors I mean the twin rear doors which make sense to me as they are easier to use when you are pulling a trailer and the single door like on my 87 300GD is very heavy and then the spare tyre is mounted there!

Yes, that camper is really nice.  How about this one with the odd top which appears to slide back but maybe not pop up??? http://occasions.g-zuna.nl/Mercedes-Benz/G-klasse/G-KLASSE-CAMPER-EXPEDITIE-AUTOMAAT--1559523/3459/1/16/details.aspx?zoek=&pv=1&so=lijst

Too bad the PUR is beyond my price and ability to import into the US.  We are stuck with 1987 and older which is OK as I prefer the simple 460 series.

Yes I saw that one too but I think it could be a little top heavy with all the extra metal work on the roof. Don't get to despondent at some point the Canadian military will decommission theirs and they will become available to the public.

I spoke to him a few months ago as he found my original email in his spam. he was pretty helpful and gave me some good tips of where to find what I was looking for. These were not cars that he was actually selling at the time so I was quite impressed.

Give him a call

Thanks for the info.  I have been emailing him and am awaiting a call about a 1980 300GD.  We will see....

Very Helpful. Very friendly. And therefore very busy. Young family on school holidays. Find him also on Facebook. And if he finds an interestring G for sale, he is gone :-)
