end caps for side steps
The black plastic end caps that fit the aluminium side steps shown in section below seem to be hard to get replacements for. No part number stamped on them. MB Dealership unable to find on epc. 4x4.at do not have any (they have ones for the much flatter section shiny aluminium side steps fitted to some G's - presumably as aftermarket accessories). Originally black anodised and came fitted on my 300GEL 463 228 270 79490 and now cut down to fit short wheelbase G as got bent. Anyone got any ideas where I can get some new caps please?

I may have some on old side steps but can't remember if I threw the steps out, pretty certain I didn't. Will check and let you know.
Those end caps are no longer available, I have spoken to the manufacturers of those side steps and they were very unhelpful, they kept insisting on buying the whole set and vehemently refused suppling any spares, namely the end caps.

I'll try to get a picture of one end cap that's the right type.
