Happy to know there are forums like these to provide the newbies with info and advice

Have just become a part owner in a 1983 460 series 300GD SWB in need of tlc, looking forward to getting the GW suited and booted

beware i may have lots of stupid questions, so apologies in advance

Yes its a good idea to fill out your profile to include where you live (roughly) and the vehicle that you own. That way when you ask questions on the forum it is easier for people to respond to you.

Such as giving you local knowledge on garages in SE England when you live in South Africa....

Just in time I think - the AGM is this weekend. Once I get the go ahead from the Chairman that your check has arrived I'll open the members section to you where it has directions.
