 Can anyone help me with a UK source for these things, Ive been to my local MB dealership and it appears they're not sold separately  here's some on German eBay  thanks Gordon

Hi

A real long shot this but the rears are available from MB Germany?

Could they be used or modified to fit?

Not sure if they even are anything like the same or if the diameter of the spring is the same or mounting or construction!!!

I did say it was a long shot!!!

They are £10.10 + vat each Part number A460 324 03 15 not handed.

The fronts have never been available from MB you have to buy a Axle tube!! circa £2200 + vat!!!

I have a old axle stored in a lock up i can check next week to see what condition the spring seats are in if you like

the swivels were shot from being stood un lubed for 10 years but not sure about the rest of the axle.

If not it looks like you could get a pair made to pattern by a fabrication company

From the picture on Ebay it looks like thats what the g specialist in Germany has done.

The rears are available here from MB,  I've allready done those, I was just hoping someone here was manufacturing the fronts to save me the bother of making them myself

Wuestenloch is an excellent supplier, I have used them many times. Fronts are smaller diameter than rears. Euro165 for the pair is probably cheaper than trying to make them yourself to exact spec? Eddie.

I'm going to make some of these,  if anybody wants a pair let me know  not sure of the price yet but it will be less than 165 euros plus 32 euros post
