Hi guys- a few days ago I bought a 1988 280GE LWB fitted with grabber tires LT245/75/R16 which I am sure would be very useful for off-roading but as I can not envisage doing any off-roading and as there are no hills let alone mountains in Twickenham I would be obliged with some suggestions on alternative road tires I should consider.

I thinking of changing to road tires as presumably such chunky ones will have a dragging effect on the G and therefore probably would mean that more fuel is used?

Any suggestions/comments/help would be great.

Henry

Hmm I don't know that bridge over the railway in St. Margret's can be tricky! LOL but the grabbers do seem a tad over kill. Try dropping Tyreman a PM as he is excellent for advice on tyres for G’s.
