I thought I'd drop in and say hello. I have just aquired an 87 G 460 LWB that's been parked up for alomost 10 years now. It does need a bit of work to get back on the road but as i restore cars I'm not afraid of the task ahead.
The car is silver, well more green (with moss) at the moment but is complete.
I run an ML as me everyday car.
I have always been tempted with a Land Rover Defender but everytime I sit in one its just to agricultural for me so I'm looking forward to the G. I did a bit of digging and from what I can find out there are only 47 of them in the whole of Ireland. Interesting.

I'll post up photos later as I can't from work although its not much to look at just now.

Thanks guys.
Got the car out of the field its been sitting in for the past few months and was very surprised at how easily it came out of the field, I was expecting brakes and things to be all siezed up. Just arranged a trailer this morning for next Saturday to get it brought home. its looking better every time I look at it.

Hi Eddie. One of the guys from Octane ie pointed me to your site last week and I've been meaning to get in contact as I'll be needing a few bits for the G I'm sure. So I'm hoping between Peter and yourselfs expertise you both will make the restoration go a bit smoother for me
