Help
Tonight i wanted to jumpstart a girlfriends car
It was pitchdark and i made a terrible mistake...
I connected the cables wrong and caused damage!
My truck 290 gtd has lost its radio interior lights and emergency blinkers.
But it starts and runs fine?
The fuses are still ok?
What is broken?
Where to look?
Whats the worse case scenario?
I am really flipping now
I f***ed up her volvo too!

Re: Help!

First I would double check the fuses, even swap with new ones - it's hard to tell sometimes.
Your radio will probably have an in line fuse close to the unit - that may have blown

Re: Help!

If i rembember my 460 fuse was in the same circuit as the radio and interior light, I would double check the fuses, does your cigarette lighter
work? Think that's on the same circuit.

Re: Help!

I did the same a long time ago, killed the alternator. That must have been on a late 80's 207D.
Well at least thats what I was told, it is possible the mechanic changed a fuse and charged me for a new alternator.  lol  :-)
