Does anyone have the number/type for the specific LPG Spark Plug for a 300GE. I'm told there is one but can't find a reference? My only issue with my multi-point conversion is I get through Plugs..it only affects tick over making the engine "hunt".

Re: LPG Spark Plugs

I  used the Splitfire platinum equivalent of the normal plug for the 300GE, which I got from Demon Tweeks.   They did 70K+ miles on LPG with no problem at all, and no wear.   Although I took them out for inspection at every service, I can't remember even having to re gap them.  There are other types of platinum plugs to choose from now, and I think it's this that gives them their long life.    Hope this is of some use.

If the engine hunts on idle, I would suggest having the LPG and, or petrol fuel mixture re-checked.

I can't see why you should get through plugs unless there is something wrong with the distributer cap or rotor arm or leads.   It seems a bit odd to me.   It might be worth getting replacements from Euro car parts.

Thanks Chaps. LPG fully serviced and I've just fitted new cap rota and leads. Changing Plugs really seems to improve things. i will have the mixture checked again

Re: LPG Spark Plugs

Update; Just had the LPG chip remapped. Wow what a difference! I did have a bit of a flat spot on pulling away, but now smooth power all though the range. It was very good before, but now it's even better.
