Thought I'd share this as the topic has not had much action recently

I've been Green Laning with a local club for the last year or so. The G is a bit big and square for local lanes, but they look after me!

This is a link to last weekends trip. Locals will note it's not where it says it is, this is to prevent an influx of  Trucks on these quiet lanes.

We got really stuck on one lane. We had to force the lead car down the lane to get to the begining so pull the back markers out. But when he got round the back markers were out, so some pointless car damage which was a shame, but by the next morning the car had been rebuilt with new wing, door and painted!

Hope you enjoy!

Excellent club with lots of different Trucks which makes things interesting.

Great pic's and looked fantastic! Judging by pics, isn't the G almost the 'thinnest' vehicle (especially compared to wide-wheeled Shogun's)? One pic of G bonnet up, just to look at engine and no issues there I hope?

Cheers

Re: Not Queensland but not bad

The G is tall and square so on Devon and Cornish lanes which are invarably in cuts  over grown with hazel I have clearance issues that the rounder Shoguns and Paj's don't have especialy on slopes or deep one sided rutts. I am leaning on the bank. The wide tyres and rubbing strips help, but my roof is taking a battering!

There is a compertion in the club to photograph the G with the bonnet up...I was checking oil & water and had got up early to avoid a picture!

Funny thing I sometimes forgot to go to low range on this trip (350 miles! 50ish lanes)......amazing what a G will do in 2WD and rear locker!

Nice but of action there.

I can see a Suzuki being a good tool for those tight lanes.

What a G should look like:

From sunny Queensland!
