Spare wheel
Hi everyone
I am really pleased to join the G - Wagon revolution. I recently purchased a 1983 ge280 which needs a little tlc but all in all it's pretty good for a vehicle nearly 30 years old. I am after a spare wheel and wondered if anyone had one for sale or if anyone could tell me if they are a standard fit for any Mercedes for example a 190e?

No chance of w201 saloon wheels fitting, wheels from Mercedes vans and Volkswagen campers are the main option along with some designs for the Toureg and the Cayenne, though their wheel sizes make them useless as an off road choice. The G-class centre in Malvern had some last time I called but not full sets just oddments but that might suit.
Can't help you with the spare wheel but when you find one, I do have a cover you could buy if you wanted

what type of wheel is it ,alloy or steel (if alloy what style?) and do you have a wheel size it is stamped on the rim somewhere

Hi everyone
Thank you for all your advice. Currently the G Wagon is on some lattice non standard bbs 15 inch alloys 31/10.5/15 tyres. I will try the G Wagon centre I don't need it to match just as long I have spare as I am going off reading this week and sods law I will get a puncture.
