Wheel wanted
Hello Peoples
Given that I have mashed one of my wheels in the accident, I am now looking for a replacement. My wheels are not the standard ones but at the moment I can't afford to replace the whole lot (I know Roly, I'll get round it it at some stage!). Don't think I am likely to be able to buy one off the shelf.
So I currently need an alloy 255/70R15 108S to replave the one I have destroyed.
Does anyone have one that matches this one that they would like to sell me/ donate to a good home?

Its a 460/1 wheel not a 463
Are you sure you have those wheels on your 463 ?? I have a set of 5 of thoses if needed ...... pm me :-)

Your W463 G came from factory with 6Jx16" Alloys fitted.
MB Part Number A463 401 00 02 x 5 to take either 205 or 225 16" tyres.
MB Sales Code R02 Light Alloy Rims.
Just so you are aware, it seems strange they have been swopped?
The EPC picture does not look disimilar to your photo with a twin 5 spoke design.
Sounds like you may be aware of this already?

Yes, I do have them on there. Roly commented when he saw it that they are not the right ones. As the truck is at the bodyshop, I have to use the RAC report that I had done when I bought it to put the spec on the site. Hence only asking for one as I would like to get the correct ones on there at some stage, but at the moment, just want it back on the road. I havea horrible feeling that it is going to be expensive so can't fork out for a full set of the right ones now! Gav, I didn't think to mention, sorry. I think the right ones were also difficult to get hold of, weren't they too?

And yes, you're right, it IS odd that they were swapped. I gather that it was owned by an MB dealer years ago, so maybe someone made him a better offer for the others and he just replaced them with those. No idea why.

The five spoke - alloy, as per your photo, is off a W460/1; the W460 had, the spokes indented from the edge of rim, as the W463, had the spokes merged on to the rim edge.
I cannot find a 255/70R 15 108S wheel, but there is a 255/75R 15 wheel.
Part number: A 460 401 00 02 - 7J X 15 H2 is priced at £315.00 plus VAT. The wheel is available from the dealers singularly, but stock is from Germany; none in stock at M/Keynes.
Trying to but secondhand can be difficult to buy as a single wheel, sellers usually want to sell the set.
Please double check that wheel size.

Thank you for that, Fredcosse has offered to lend me one as he has some. Roly had explained to me about mine being the wrong ones and I would like to get the correct ones at some stage, but at the moment I am just concerned about getting it back on the road, hence Freds kind offer.

M2dxb has a correct wheel, I have another, I was planning on getting a 2nd set together, but I will sell my 6J 16 for some beer money, as I am sure M2dxb will. You will have a set together before you know it.
No she needs the 7.5x15 alloy from a 460/1 not the narrow one.
I think what the guys are saying is that between them they have 2 of the right wheels that should be on the W463 for beer money,
All she needs now is 2 more and a set of tyres and she has the proper wheels.

and no worries ...just needed you 2 know :)
I have four of the correct 463 wheels with Pirelli Scorpion tyres. PM me if interested.
