No its a UMM Alter II, Portugese, think factory went bust in 2000?
Some good bits, nippy with 2.5 Turbo Diesel ( Peugeot) for the time, like G's a bit prone to rust, used to have one, ( well two, one for spares) before my 463
very common in Portugal, quite crude suspension, cart sprung but effective

Was ment to a new Alter with a flat bonnet that looked like a G!
Was a good driving position but even better if you under 5ft 10 to avoid stooping under the windcreen, at the time quick by 4x4 standards, better than a TDI land Rover, acceleration wise anyway. Sadly getting a rarer sight in Portugal.
