Over 13 years of G ownership
My present G-wagen is a 1991 300GEL. Before that I had a 280GEL. Overall I've been a G-wagen owner for over 13 years. Both Gs' have been driven off road - local green lanes and Wales. I spent a great couple of days many years ago learning to drive off-road properly at Ronnie Dale's place in Scotland.
As well as a long-term fascination with G-wagens I've had an equally long interest in Pinzgauers. Since importing an x-Swiss Army 710K two years ago I've not taken the G off-road. Off-roading highlight to date was taking part in the 2004 Croisiere Blanche in the Pinzgauer!

I've had the same G for over 14 years - I dont suppose that's a record tho' and I am not a very active contributor to this forum - except when I need something :?
I rarely go seriously off road, but as a road car, I guess I have (mostly) been extremely fortunate with the drive quality and always impressed with the build/style. I just prefer the swb too.
Right now I need to sell my current one (sob) and get a nice 463 when funds permit.
