getaway driver...........
is something i could never do in my '88 300gd,but speed's not everything.
Just a quick intro, i live in Southern Ireland and have had the G Wagen for nearly a year,i found it in a pond in Suffolk, brought it over here and haven't had a days problem with it since, which is more than i can say for the Land Rover Defender i had the misfortune to of owning before, NEVER AGAIN, absolute over rated, mouldy, minging, rusting, rotting, festering, expensive, constantly breaking down JUNK.
The only niggle i've got with the G is an anoying vibration at 60mph, which i gather is quite a common thing, but any advice would be appreciated, plus i need to get some shocks and sidesteps(for the mother-in-law,she's no ballet dancer, unless you know of anyone that sells a winch that fits on the side  )so any advice on the best place to get these from would be helpful. I know the G is good at off-roading because there aren't any roads over here, so everywhere you go is "off-road".Ta for now, Glyn. 8)
Glyn,
Yes try Tommylift, you will find them on the internet, I have found them to be very good.
My only difficulty is refraining from slinging the mother in law by the neck !
